An illuminating and inspiring conversation exploring how Myokei Caine-Barrett Shonin became the first woman, as well as first woman of African American and Japanese descent, to be ordained as a priest of the Nichiren Order in the United States.

Houston Zen Center's Gaelyn Godwin and Dawn Mountain's Lama Harvey Aronson will be hosting this exciting collaborative donation-based event and there will be an opportunity for questions from the audience.
