Available both In-Person and via broadcast

Many of us are dealing with the ups and downs of daily living.  We experience loss, unexpected changes and confusion in our lives and see how those around us are experiencing and coping with these same issues.  We see world upheaval that is causing great loss and suffering to an unlimited part of humanity.  How do we cope with these issues and how does Tibetan Buddhism and the Dzogchen lineage help us as we cope with life?

Dawn Mountain is reviving and renewing our relationship with those who have come across our path in recent years.  These relationships are precious to us.  Whether we've connected through our weekly newsletter, or you've registered for a class or two, we are interested in getting to know you more deeply.

Please join us on Sunday, May 5, 2024 at 12:45 pm CST for a complimentary one-hour Welcome to Dawn Mountain event either in-person or via Zoom (or YouTube).

  • Dawn Mountain's founders, Anne Klein (Lama Rigzin Drolma) and Harvey Aronson (Lama Namgyal Dorje) will give a short history of Dawn Mountain.
  • Some of our sangha members will talk about what Dawn Mountain has meant to them.
  • We'll talk about the programs that we currently offer, and our Lamas will give us their vision for the future.
  • We'll have a Q&A period where you will have the opportunity to interact with the Lamas and other sangha members and ask any questions you may have.

We hope this event will leave you with a warm heart and a will to nurture the relationship between us.  One of our members will contact you by phone in the week following the event to ask for your feedback.  We're very interested in what you have to say!

If you are unable to attend this event live due to a time conflict, we will be offering a Welcome Event every couple of months.  The archived recording of the event will also be available for viewing at your convenience once it has been broadcast.

Please note:  In-person participation is  to take place at our new home on the St. Philip campus in the Mission Center.  The address is 4803 San Felipe, Houston, TX 77056.
