Gems of Buddhist Thought and Practice

First and Third Sundays

 

This Summer we will be offering a series of stand-alone instructions for students who wish to learn more about Buddhist thought and practice.  These will be practice/theme oriented classes that will be appropriate for new students and helpful refreshers for longer term participants.

Sunday, June 7
Lama Rigzin Drolma. The first of Longchenpa's mind trainings; a deep introduction to contemplation within our tradition.

Lama Rigzin Drolma. For beginners, and those familiar, engaging in a simple meditative practice within our Seeing to Being perspective on Buddhist meditation.

Jason Cox, Meditation instructor, talk. The eight worldly dharmas that affect our lives to deeply.

Sunday, August 16
Lama Namgyal Dorje. Failproof meditation:  Introducing and Revisiting Tonglen.  Open heartedness in the face of pain or joy, coming into and staying in an open-hearted relationship with all beings.

Fee:  $120 Standard Rate (includes non-members and Dawn Mountain Basic Members)*
         FREE for Dawn Mountain Full Members* (Full members must still register to receive links)
